A short addendum to the post on Finn.no’s ordering criteria puzzle. I wanted to look around at offers in the rental market, and as I reached the list of counties, I found another surprising - for lack of a better word - way of ordering the list.

The ordering puzzle is illustrated in the screenshot below:

Now, I must admit I didn’t find a logic behind the ordering, as most densely populated areas are mixed in with areas with most properties out for rent in a seemingly random fashion. Perhaps the ordering is driven by clicks……but that’s just a guess, especially if one considers that if that was the criterium, it’d mean that the county Østfold gets more clicks than Oslo on the rental market, which seems quite unlikely!
What is sure it’s that it took me quite some time to find the county i wanted to check….
